    I like the visual layout of the homepage on Supreme with the search bar across an image (and I notice many of the showcase do to, but are not using Supreme)
    I prefer the individual listing layout of Directory Starter
    How can I get the impact of the homepage with the search bar like Supreme, but the inside listing layout of Directory?
    I am using a blog style theme and the Divi builder (from Elegant Themes) with the Geo Plugin right now as

    So how do you place the search bar over an image like the ones on the showcase?

    There are probably a few ways.
    Change the CSS for the search widget, and add an image as a background.
    Or add an image in a widget, and then with CSS move the search over it.
