Search bar CPT selector

Hello,

I’d like to remove the CPT selector in the search bar while keeping my events custom fields. However, when I add .gd-search-field-cpt {display: none;} it removes both the CPT selector and the custom fields (date picker).

I tried adding .search_by_post option[value=gd_place] {display: none;} but it still shows the selected CPT which isn’t necessary because it’s the only CPT left.

So far I’ve found a way to hide the selector while keeping the custom fields. However, the container remains causing a gap in the search bar. Any suggestions?
