Hi!
I am setting up my website and I came across a problem. I don’t seem to be able to find an answer in the docs or in the forum.
I have created two CPT and I also have the default one for “Places”.When you check the Home page in the search box it shows the “Places” by default, but I need it to show all entries no matter what CPT they belong too.
How can I achieve this?

November 27, 2014 at 2:31 am #22803Hi,
currently that is not feasible. We are working on a solution to make this possible, but it’s bery complex and it will be included in a future batch of releases. Probably in a couple of weeks.
Thx
November 27, 2014 at 2:40 am #22804Hello Paolo!
Thank you for the quick response.I didn’t expect that answer. It actually ruins my businness plan :(, but the fact that you’re working on a solution is helpful.
I am wondering if there’s a way around to achieve what I need. I discussed it with Simone earlier but I didn’t know that limitation at the time.
I need to have three different listing designs each assigned to a Price Package.
So I am working on Free, Claimed, Premium.
I have created two CPT for Claimed and Premium and I have also created Price Packages for them.Is there another way to do that? Can I have three Price Packages in Places and assign them different designs so I don’t deal with the problem I have in the search?

November 27, 2014 at 11:41 am #22836Hi Kat, as I said in another post, you should just create 3 price packages for one CPT.
Can you explain in more detail what you mean with different “designs”? If you mean that the different levels can have different features, then you only need one post type.November 27, 2014 at 9:52 pm #22900Hello Guust!
With different “designs” I mean different fields so eventually also different listing and detail page. How can I do that with one CPT?
November 27, 2014 at 10:46 pm #22904Here is an example of 3 levels for one CPT, it is all set as 3 incremental price packages for the same CPT.

I hope that is clear enough?
Feel free to submit a test listing there.November 27, 2014 at 10:54 pm #22905Yes, that is very helpful.
But how am I handling this from the backend? Do I use the “Post Fields” in “Prices” and then all the additional options for the characters limitation, etc?
Is there anything else that I am missing?Kat

You should already have a free package.
Edit that so it is bottom of the range, ie the minimum package.
Pick what you like from Post Fields by holding CTRL and clicking.
Adjust whatever else you like. Then create a new package with just a bit more, and so on.
Just have a go, you cannot break anything that way. Just create your packages, open a new browser and pretend to be a visitor. You’ll see how it works.
November 29, 2014 at 12:57 am #22988I tried it yesterday. It was straight forward when you understand the basics.
Wanted to make sure that I am not missing anything else because I just started working with your plugin and although I read all the documentation my knowledge is still limited. The direction you gave me was very helpful!
Thank you Guust! -
