Search Listing Issue

    Ok folks I’m sorry for the few questions over the past couple of days. I am still trying to get familiar with your program, but am loving it so far! My (hopefully) last question/ issue that I was hoping for your feedback is the following:

    I am having an issue with the searches in regards to listings. For instance, when I search in the “near” box for a city (ie. Tacoma) it only pulls a single listing from that area where I no that there are several. These are doctor listings, some of which practice from the same location so I know that they should show up if the one single listing is popping up at that location as well. Maybe there is something that I am missing in the set-up, but I have been combing it over and cant seem to find it.

    Also, I am having an issue with listings appearing after a search that are no where even close to where I searched. In using the same “near” search “Tacoma” it will pull listings from literally the other side of the country. In my directory searching tacoma will pull Doctors 2600 miles away in Florida. I know that the search is a central location code and that is fine I just dont understand why its pulling the listings as such.

    It seems like these may be related issues but I cant seem to wrap my head around exactly whats going on. Thank you for your time and feedback!

    I also just ran into an instance where I searched the zip code and the listings came back with a weird dynamic. Essentially, a practice with 4 doctors was searched in the 33702 area code. The listings that returned in order of priority successfully returned 2 of the doctors in the practice. However the 3rd and 4th listing were for doctors 18 miles away, the 5th listing was for a doctor 70 miles away, and the 6th and 7th listings were for the other 2 doctors in that practice. The mileage still reflected them correctly at 2.6 miles but for whatever reason they were further down on priority.

    Firstly, you should correct your WP permalinks: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames

    There is a difference between a NEAR search and an IN search, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near
    IN Tacoma: https://www.advodoctors.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=&set_location_type=3&set_location_val=4&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
    The search will not work correctly with the permalinks being set incorrectly.

    Its odd. I have attached what I see on the back end of WP (even after clearing my cache) but I did open it in incognito and found that it is working properly. I guess the intent is met so I will call it good for the moment. Kind of a weird thing to happen since it looked identical to the front end map until this point. Ill keep an eye on it and keep playing with it a bit. Thank you for your help!
