    In my directory users will only be looking for one type of listing therefore I don’t want them to enter any keywords in the search, only their location.

    Currently I solve this by disabling the “s” input field and changing it’s value to a keyword that I make sure is a tag in all my listings.

    This works but I was wondering if there was a better way of achieving the desired result.

    Hi Dan, you can achieve this by adding the following code in style.css inside your child theme

    input.search_text {
    display:none;
    }

    Hi,

    I would do the same, either hide it with css or if you are already modifying the widget code make it invisible and add your default tag…

    Let us know if we can set this as resolved.

    Thx
