    Hi, I’m sure the following changes can be done via code using say a child theme. However, is there a standard / recommended way to the following:

    1) Display only one search field, that is the just “Near” field.

    2) Is there are way to hide the “Attractions” and “Features” categories below the search box?

    3) Is there a way to hide all categories below the fold on the search page?

    4) Is there a way to remove “Supreme” from the top left corner?

    5) Is there a way to change the full page map image on the search page?

    Thanks

    Hi kevin,

    Thanks for your reply. Please allow me to answer your questions accordingly.

    1 – 4 can be achieved via custom CSS as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/supreme/#style .

    5. The Map is on the right side of the page in the GD search page. How do you want it to look like? https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

    1-4. sweet thanks!

    5. I meant the backgound map image here (behind the search form and category icons): https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/

    Cheers,

    5. Change the featured image used on the search page by editing it in the WP Backend editor.

    5. Thanks

    1-4. I’m trying to make these custom changes in style.css in the child theme, for example:

    .geodir-categories-container {
    display: none;
    }

    But, that does not seem to work, even after a hard browser refresh. This is usually where custom design changes occur for themes, should this work with geodirectory?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    Hi, for 1-4. I was able to do it in theme settings. But, should style.css work for GeoDirectory?

    Thanks again

    Try adding to the customizer.
    WP – Appearance – Customizer – Additional CSS
