SEARCH PROBLEM

    Help ! I didn’t realise that the “Search” in geodirectory searches the entire site and not just the directory entries. I am working on a holistic directory and now when I search “Yoga” for example I dont get any businesses listed I just get blog post and article posts on yoga. I am building in an online magazine into my site because I want everything on one site. Is there a way to set the search to just search the directory listings and not the entire site ? I dont want people getting article posts in their search results when searching the business directory.

    I also noticed that when I typed in Vegan it said there are no listings found even though in the categories it says 7 vegan listings ?

    Whats wrong with my search ?

    Hi,

    there must be a plugin that is creating conflict with our queries, please provide admin credentials in a private reply and we will tell you which one is the culrpit.

    Normally GeoDIrectory only looks for listings.

    Hi,

    the plugin that is messing with GD search was relevanssi, which is not compatible.

    You also had few add-ons outdated. I added your licenses in GD >> Auto Updates and updated them for you.

    You should make sure to always keep core and add-ons updated. Using the latest core woth old add-ons is absolutely a mistake.
