Search Result Incomplete

We would like some advice regarding special characters in place name such as (.) and (‘).

We have two separate place listings (two separate locations)
1) St. Mary’s College
2) St. Mary’s College Prep

When searching using Keywords:

St Mary’s College OR
St Mary’s

1) St. Mary’s College – does not appear in search results

2) St Mary’s College Prep – appears in the search

3) St Mary’s College only appears in the search results if searching using keywords: st mary

We have tried to add a new listing for St Mary’s College (without .) but it still does not appear in the result.

Again, in back end under Places,
searching using keywords

Mary, or St Mary

the listing St Mary’s College will appear

if searching keywords

St Mary’s
St Mary’s College

the listing St Mary’s College DOES NOT appear
