Search results and recurring events: Help!

I have a real problem and I need your help.

This is the event result page for a keyword search ‘wochenmarkt’, which means weekly market.

The weekly markets are events setup as recurring because it is every week on the same day, same time, same place. The recurring feature is an excellent functionality in this case and helps a lot to put such events in the database. I love it!

But, the way the results for keyword searches come out when there is a recurring event is horrible.

Regarding the URL above, when I search for weekly market, I would expect NOT to see the last entry added to the database with all its recurring instances, but instead different weekly markets with their closest next date.

Did I miss something in the Settings that is producing such a result? Please advise, we really need help to setup this one correctly.
