Hhi I’ve noticed in the search results page when i start using the search box and the top and a list comes down, a black line appears at the right side of the page. Is this something common that’s maybe being fixed?

I cannot see that. When the drop down appears with the listing suggestions, a scroll bar will appear to the right because the drop down is very long, is that what you mean?

Nope. I get this thin black line to the left of the screen.

What browser are you using? I cannot see it at all anywhere, and tried IE, FF and Chrome.
Can you post a screenshot showing it?
