    Hi,

I recently migrated my site to Cloudways from inmotion shared hosting.
When it was on inmotion, the option Send to friend on detail page was working correctly. However not it is not working. I do not get any confirmation messages either. cannot find where did I wrong. When I publish a post (place) the notification email sending to the inbox correctly.
    pls. help (my site: https://www.slplaces.com/)

    Thanks

I suggest you check with Cloudways to make sure everything is set up correctly.
If it was working correctly before, it must be a Cloudways related issue.
    Thanks

I checked with cloudways. Everything is correct with cloudways.Emails are sending correctly from the site, excep “send to friend” option.
I cannot figure out the reason.

    Thanks

Can you post your WP admin details in a private reply, then a developer can have a closer look for you.

    Thanks

Please check now, your site url was set as http instead of https, so when submitting the form it was submitting to http but redirecting to https and losing the data.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
Thanks for the time taken to look into this.

When I ask to change the site url to https, Cloudways engineer ask not to change it (Edited the htdocs directed http to https istead). I have no idea about why they did not recommend to change it. Apparently it is working fine after changing too. I’m using cloudways “Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate”.

What should I do? Is it okay to keep both urls as https?

    Thanks.

i see no reason it should not be changed, and many reasons it should be…
