Hello,

I have just come across a couple of items which don’t appear to be right but hopefully they are easy fix 🙂 . I will send a private message with pics but they are related to:

1 – Category and Topic SEO/Description.
2 – Add listing country drop down menu.

Hi,

1) GeoDirectory uses the “Category Top Description”, the description is sometimes used by the theme. If you provide a link and admin credentials we’ll have a look at your settings.

2) We can’t inspect images, so we’ll need access to your website to follow up on this one. It could be a conflict with a script from the theme or another plugin.

OPs I’m sorry, I was convinced the problem was gone.

That must be a theme related issue though, the 2 instances that should not be there are outside GD templates.

I asked to the developers to confirm. They’ll let us know asap.

All issues seem to be theme related, if you can provide wp-admin details in a private reply i will take a look, if you can also provide FTP it might speed things up a bit too.

Hi Stiofan,

Thanks for that! The category is now only showing in one spot which is fantastic.

In terms of the second issue with the drop down box on the Add Listing page, is there any solution for this? It isn’t a massive problem as it still works but it would be much nicer looking if it was just one box!

Sorry the theme is taking over the selects, you may have to ask the theme author how to prevent their select script from taking over others select boxes, specifically we are using “chosen select”

If they have an answer i will then implement it in GD core.

Hi Stiofan,

Thanks for confirming. We don’t have support for the theme anymore so we’ll see if our web designer knows anything and if not, we will consider buying another year of support for our theme to see if the author can resolve it.

I’ll let you know if we find a solution 🙂
