SEO submit for Webmaster Tools conflict

    Hi there

    Are there any known issues by adding Yoast alongside GeoDirectory?

    We are finding that our index is being incorrectly submitted. Set up as follows:

    – Yoast installed and running, title and description of home page changed
    – Home page running from the geodir_home.php template
    – Home page selected in WP Reading Settings
    – Geodirectory SEO title and description to display same as Yoast
    – After changes, sitemaps resubmitted to Google.
    – Requested a site forced fetch for Google off webmaster tool.
    – Result displays different Title and Description.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi ollie,

    I’d like you to know that GD is fully compatible with Yoast. Also, Google won’t reindex just about anything you edit and it can take weeks to see the changes on the Google search result.

    Thanks Kor – From understanding, with Webmaster tools you can request a force fetch and it should speed the process up to a couple of days. Will hopefully see some changes in the coming weeks.
