I am using the Geodirectory Modern theme and the latest wordpress. I have some questions about setting it up and thought I’d ask them here all at once.
1) I have different custom post types, for example businesses, dining, healthcare, accommodations.
The home page is set up to show businesses. But whatever custom post I have set up in the menus, (such as accommodation) when clicked on, it shows only businesses on each page but the only map is showing the accommodations locations.
What am I doing wrong? I want dining to show when the user clicks on dining, healthcare services when the healthcare menu option is clicked on.
2) I want an adsense ad to show in the upper right of the header. I used a text widget. It is not showing. I added a text widget to the header, upper right, i added the google adsense text, but nothing is showing.
3) I would like a locations page to show like the demo of this page at Locations page: like: http://wordpressmu-3822-8567-17899.cloudwaysapps.com/try-geodirectory/all-locations/
How do I do this?
4) The width of the website is too wide. I made it 98% wide, but the black menu background was then too narrow.
5) Only the dummy data is showing for Events. I want this Events button when clicked to go to a page which shows all events by most recently listed first?
