Hi

I am starting a directory initially for one region/ then 1-2 more regions.. we will be integrating a shop (managed by me, not vendors) and networking events

I saw the marketplace plugin allow vendors to plug in to sell from your directory. is there a way to plug in a ‘shop’ to self manage products? to make the shop look like yours.

what would be the best to integrate all shops into one, and then have directories for each region.

Thanks for your post. Sorry, I’m not getting this. Do you mean you want to have products on your listings and also a shop page that lists all your products? If not, kindly elaborate a little bit more so that we could guide you further with this.

Hi

I want to have a shop that is separate to the listings

homepage shop… with a small search business directory but the directory is not the main feature ?

The main focus for business would be shop, then directory and networking events

Is this possible

Or is it better to use Shopify and link it back in with a plug in? What Shopify to WordPress would you suggest

Hello,

you can use other plugins alongside GD, certainly. You can create items for sale with WP Invoicing. Have you tried that? It is really easy to create a ‘buy now’ button, and you can put that on any WP Page. Easy.

If you want guidance on what 3rd party plugins to use, why, and how, you should contact a GD Expert.

Here in the support forum we are working on bug fixes, for the most part. We don’t usually recommend third party plugins because we don’t provide support for them.
