    Hi,

Is there a shortcode field for Customs Fields as there is for Tabs?

Or can I use standard html fields to introduce specific shortcodes for each listing?

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much once again for your help.

    Best regards.

    Hi Alex,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I am confused. I do not understand yet how to deal with design elements and I can not find any field with the name “Post Meta” in the “Custom Fields” Tab of the CPT Settings Page.

Since there is a “Shortcode” Field in the “Custom Fields” section of the “Tabs” Tab of CPT Settings Page, I thought that I could find also a “Shortcode” Field in the “Custom Fields” section of the “Custom Fields” Tab of the CPT Settings Page.

Would a “HTML Field” work to introduce specific shortcodes for each listing, as I did with GD V1 (with a code snippet allowing the shortcode to work inside the HTML field)?

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much once again for your help.

    Best regards.

No, there is not a “Shortcode Custom Field”.
Yes, you can add shortcodes to the post_content and to an HTML field.

GD Design Elements are widgets, shortcodes are blocks, depending on which editor you use.

You can find a list of them here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/

These elements are added to the template pages
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/

For an example of how they work see:
