    Hi there,

could you help me with next point?
When I enter the shortcode [gd_listings post_type=”gd_event” event_type=”upcoming” post_number=”50″ tags=”apr 18″ with_pagination=”0″] the events are shown not by the event start date. I need to display the events list sorted the by the start date exactly (e.g., all events at April, 10; events at April, 11; then April, 12, etc.
Please, can you let me know if it is possible to do it?
Here is the screenshot how the events list looks like: https://prnt.sc/j2sh8h

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Could you please login to the account you purchased the GD events addon for verification purposes?

    Thanks!

Please try the [gd_event_listing] shortcode as it supports sorting for events:

    Thank you,
but we need to sort the event not by the categories only, but by the tags also. That’s why [gd_event_listing] shortcode doesn’t work for us

    Aslo,

Is there a way to get the Business Name (once it has been linked to an event) into the event listing (not the detail page)?
    See attached

    Hello,

I will flag your issue with [gd_event_listing] not filtering by tags for the developers.

For linked business information in listings, that is a customization, but we have an example here to get you started. Search on the following page for “Listing Page – Add linked business information to event listings”: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-are-some-examples-of-changes-that-a-developer-can-make-to-the-listings-page/

    Hello,

I have conferred with the team. What you need to do with sorting listings by event date and filtering with tags will be possible in V2, but it is not currently possible without a customization in V1.

Thanks. Any idea when V2 will come out?
How about – Is there a way to get the Business Name (once it has been linked to an event) into the event listing (not the detail page)?
    See above.

For updates about V2 please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-v2-final-roadmap/

For showing business information like title in another listing, that is a customization, but we have an example here to get you started. Search on the following page for “Listing Page – Add linked business information to event listings”: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-are-some-examples-of-changes-that-a-developer-can-make-to-the-listings-page/
