How would I go about displaying the complete address in the map bubble? At the moment it currently only lists the street. I need it to list the street, state and zip.

I have been meaning to ask the same thing except i only want to see city & state (region). Street address only os not useful especially when looking at zoomed out info.

    Thanks

    hi,

did you have a look at this?

    The process is the same.

That only seems to work with putting data in the listing-listview.php template. I need my data to go into the geodir_get_infowindow_html function which is located in geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/post_functions.php

    Hi,

    are you 100% sure?

Here the other member seems to be asking the exact same thing:

I tried this in the listings template and it worked great, but it doesn’t work for the info inside the bubble (post_functions.php)

And the soluition provided by Simone in the following reply seem to have worked for both: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/show-email-address-in-map-bubble/#post-17531

    Let us know,

    Thx

I’m 100% sure. I’m using a customized listing-listview.php template so I set it back to it’s default state and tried adding some static dummy data in the template to see if it would show up in the info bubble and nothing shows up.

I don’t see how adding it to that template would make it show up in the info bubble as none of the info bubble markup is in the listing-listview.php template.

    Hi again,

maybe you are not reading carefully enough.

    Simone isn’t saying to change it only in listing-listview.php, but also in post_functions.php, where the id is already declared, so you can use $ID rather than the $postid; Reason why it was only working for the other member in listing-listview.php. He was using $postid;

To me it looks exactly the same thing. In any case I wouldn’t see any other way to do it at the moment.

    Thx

Ah ok that wasn’t really clear to add the edit to the post_functions.php file. Wouldn’t editing a core file mean my edit would get overwritten with an update?

    Yes, that is correct.

Currently I don’t think there are hooks to do that via a theme functions.php.

    I’ll ask Stiofan to confirm.

    Thx
