Hi,
I’ve read through your entire documentation but can’t find a solution to my problem.
It is written in the GD Docs that GD works with the themes sidebars if it is built into the templates, and to use Appearance – Widgets. I did both, and under my page options I’ve also selected the sidebar to be shown but it’s still not coming up in my GD pages. Can you please help me take a look?

July 17, 2019 at 6:41 pm #498240Actually changing that doesn’t appear to be working. The developers have been alerted.
Thanks for your patience,
July 18, 2019 at 12:50 am #498299Thanks Paolo. I wanted to use the gd_dining sidebar for the Details page. But like you said, changing it didn’t make it work.

July 30, 2019 at 2:01 pm #500343Hi,
After the patch the website went through a series of issues.
I had had some customisation work done a long time ago and they disappeared after the patch.
1) Search results page
I had some work done so that the custom search filters appear in a column on the left (I started a thread on this because I thought this was a function that came with the Advanced Search plugin. But after your developers didn’t seem to get what I was saying, I checked on my work log and realised that this was actually customisation work I had my developer do a while back.2) Front page
pls refer to attached3) Received email from wordpress on the same day regarding a fatal error on GD Advanced Search plugin, and a few days later another WP email regarding fatal error on GeoDirectory Ajax Duplicate Alert plugin.
We couldn’t find out what went wrong so I restored the website back to before the patch was applied, so now my sidebars are not appearing again.
A) Do you think the issues have to do with the patch?
B) Could you help me apply the patch again or provide instructions for how to do it?July 30, 2019 at 2:07 pm #500345This reply has been marked as private.July 30, 2019 at 6:01 pm #500414The patch would not have effected anything except whether a sidebar shows or not.
The patch was for a fix that is part of 20065 so just update GD to get the fix for your theme. If that update doesn’t fix the sidebar issue please write back and let us know. (Be sure to clear cache!)
1. That is not a GD feature so you would need to contact your developer to set up custom funcitonality.
2. If you are looking for a search widget you can use GD Search
3. We have checked into these reports and done our diligence. As mentioned in the other topic please let us know if you see any issues with GD functionality.
