Hi, I have just purchased your full set of plugins and installed them with the Whoop theme/Buddypress/BBpress on my site. All was going fairly well and then the site crashed. I have tried to deactivating and reactivating the plugins one by one, but I can´t seem to resolve the issue. What do you suggest? Can you take a look http://www.greenscotland.org and advise. Thanks

Can you turn off GD Booster?
And post your admin details in a private reply? Thanks.

    Hello,

I activated GD Booster but i quickly got blocked from your site, the css and js urls seems to be redirecting home, so i disabled the 404 redirect home plugin and then they give a 404, this file exists but is not found which is either a security plugin or a server security rule http://greenscotland.org/wp-content/plugins/geodir_gd_booster/booster_css.php

You need to find out what is blocking access to this file and stop it. You should also check the security logs to figure out why i was blocked and disable that rule as it seems to be giving a fals positive. (ip: 86.141.149.62)

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,
Thanks a lot for taking a look and your advice.
Sorry, but I don’t know how to do what you have asked.
I have disabled my Wordfence security plugin but that doesn’t seem to make any difference.
Could you give me a little bit more help as to how exactly I should or could find out what is causing the problem.
Should I contact my hosting company to check the server security?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hi again,
Do you guys offer the possibility of paying you for your time to correctly set up a Geodirectory site?
It would be good to know as I can see myself wasting a lot of time fiddling about when you could sort it out quickly.
Please let me know and an idea of your rate.
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

You need to contact your host and ask why this file is throwing a 404 instead of resolving: http://greenscotland.org/wp-content/plugins/geodir_gd_booster/booster_css.php That is all you really need to tell them and they should be able to track it down.

    Hi,
My hosts said this: We have no idea, it’s not a security precaution as this would give a 403 not a 404. This is just “not found”. Plugin conflict maybe? The logs don’t show much I’m afraid.
Should I push them further or is there anything else I can do?
    What do you suggest?
    Thanks,
    Adam

Hi Adam, the file is there You can check files in the same folder: http://greenscotland.org/wp-content/plugins/geodir_gd_booster/license.txt

It could be a permission problem or it could be a plugin has added some rules to the .htaccess file. If you provide FTP i can give those a check, or you can ask your host to.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
