slow page load speed on details listing page

hi Sir,

As we are loading more data to the listing table (“events”). We are noticing the page load speed
for the detailed listing page slowing down quite dramatically.

We are currently on a shared hosting plan. Obviously, I do not expect the page to fly but it takes more than 10 seconds to load at times. It was a lot faster before.

Click on “Activities” in the menu –> click on any activity on the page (or just do a search and click on a detailed listing)

most pages (blogs, listing summary) seem tolerable in terms of speed. The detailed listing page is an exception. We have ~2000 records in the event table. Is that already too much? Actually, we are planning to add a lot more to the database!

Please advise.
