Heads up… Brand new install of GD 1.6.7 and everything updated. Using Supreme theme.

    1. Directly below the large featured image, just to the right of the user avatar, directly below the PLACES + EVENTS title there are tiny icons when social media links are populated. None of those tiny icons are loading in blank. I will fix on my end.

    2. I am using a third-party image carousel scroll plugin. Those images in the carousel are displaying on the bottom of the Supreme Home page and on the bottom of each PLACES and EVENTS listing details page. Each image will be sold as advertising space. Each image can be linked to one of the PLACES or one of the EVENTS or external path directing the viewer to a website or social media account. When I utilize just the permalink address of a PLACE or EVENT the viewer lands on the PLACE or EVENT but the resulting url path statement is replicating the permalink which I will send in a private reply because the project is not completed yet.

    HI,

#1 Please update supreme theme, this is a child theme so there are no auto updates for this.

#2 I am not sure what you mean?

    Hi,

#1 I am talking about supreme THEME not the GD plugin, you are using theme version 1.0.3 when 1.0.5 is the latest.

#2 This has nothing to do with GD, the plugin is telling it to open in a new window, if you simply put a link href=’stuff’ then that page won’t open in a new window but it will use the current page link, if you put href=’/stuff’ it will go to the main site link like, stuff.com/stuff but it will still open in a new window as thats what the plugin is telling it to do.

As far as i can see GD has nothing to do with #2, if you post wp-admin and a link to how you set links i will confirm this for you.

    2) this has nothing to do with Supreme, GD or WordPress, this is how linking works in HTML code.

Relative URLs, that doesn’t explicitly specify the protocol (e.g., ” http:// ” or ” https:// “) and/or domain ( http://www.example.com ), force the visitor’s web browser (or the search engine bots) to assume they refer to the same site on which the URL appears.

So if you use a link like this:

    href="/relative/"

on mysite.com the link will be mysite.com/relative/

on mysite.com/about/ the link will be mysite.com/about/relative/

The explanation you offered about analytics is based on wrong assumptions.

The referrer is what determines if you are opening a new sessions or continuing an existing session and all links in a browser a rendered as

    http://domain/path/

no matter if in the db are entered as relative or absolute.

    Thanks
