Social Sharing – archive pages

    Hi, the CPT archive pages are not getting shared and gives an error ” this is a template and cannot be accessed from front end”

    However i can share properly the listing detail pages, which are also based on template as i understand.

    Can you please suggest how to fix this?

    Hi Vivek,

    Thanks for your post. I’m able to replicate it on your Website. Not sure if this is related to GD. Have you consulted the 3rd party ‘Social Share’ plugin author?

    Hi Kor, I deactivated the social share plugin, and switched to the social share available on KLEO theme, and the same error is there.

    On the plugin support site, I see that this may be as there are no opengraph tags on the page.

    Do please check if you are able share on sites with other social plugins

    The FB share link is sharing your homepage, which is not a GD page.

    I have set to share the current page and not homepage- as you can see the listing GD pages are getting shared properly. So it appears to be some issue on the GD archive page.

    The FB sharing tool is not working and does not have a link attached.
    However, when I share the CPT page I see the attached screenshot and it is sharing properly.
    So it appears this is not a problem with the GD archive page.
