H there, I posted a support request about 3 months ago on the amount of soft 404s being reported in Google console.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/soft-404s/

The last word on the topic was from Paolo:

”Either we add the 404 http code to the header of those pages or we server some “related” content like trip advisor does.

We added a task to implement the second option.”

Has been there is any update on this? ie. when might it be implemented? Or any other ideas for a solution as the problem has gotten a lot worse since then.

    Thanks

    Hi Ronny,

This has been implemented and will be in the next release of payments manager.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

I also got an email warning from Google (see attachments).

This happened after I recently added a bunch of new hotels.

When is the next release coming out? I didn’t see this in the changelist in the latest version.

    Thanks!
    Josh

    Hi Josh,

The next release should be in the next few days or early next week.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
