    Hi Stiofan, I have applied the technique you outlined in your article to sort by price to our site at https://dinnerdata.co.uk.

    If we search leaving fields clear, it isn’t returning the sort order using my custom sort, I think I might be missing something obvious but perhaps you can help point me in the right direction?

    We have included the code in the functions.php you outline above, modified it for our larger list of packages, and run it via the modified 404 page, and it seems to have worked fine, so I think it is a setting to do with displaying results.

    I have left the setting to show on the listings page so you can see the sort order values.

    Look forward to any pointers you can provide please.

    Many thanks

    Malc

    Hi Stiofan,

    Yes that seems to be it. In order for us to hide the element in the listings that says, for example, “My Custom Sort: 1” is this in settings or do we just do it with CSS?

    Thanks

    Malc

    Hi,

    yes the only way to hide that would be with CSS:

    .geodir-tax-sort {
        display: none;
    }

    Thanks
