Sorting

On view all PHysicians or Locations I have it set to sort from A-Z. But the way I set this up was the doctors full name. So naturally it’s sorting by their first name.

Now my client tells me they MUST be sorted by their LAST Name. It’s not acceptable to them for me to put on a page title: Smith, Joe, MD etc. So is there a way to add a custom field for their last name and sort by that?

Hi kim, Yes you can add a custom field for last name and then use our advanced search filters addon to sort by that field.

Activate that addon first before creating custom field. So you can see an option to include that field in sorting options
