I’ve added sorting options to my site today so users can sort listed properties by occupancy (its a holiday accommodation site). However, when i select to sort this way the number are done incorrectly. I.e in the following order:

    1, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 2, 3, 4

It seems to proceed any number with 1 ahead of the subsequent numbers (i.e if a property had 100 spaces this would show before those that has 2!)

Any way this can be resolved? Thanks

    Hi cheryl,

Do you think you can share WP admin to your Website so that I could check on the setup? Also, please share the Url of the page in question so that I could understand more about the issue. please use the private reply option below.

    Thanks

    Hi cheryl,

You should make this a text input and then set its data type as a number, this will then sort things as a number and how you want.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Hi Stiofan, thank you. I have changed the input to number data type (was just text box previously) and have requested all users to change so will see if this makes a difference. If not i shall DM with admin access. Thanks again
