Split: Change default name

    I have installed custom post types. I’ve created a new post type ‘Gardens’. Then I changed the existing default post type labels to Gardens and Garden. The default post type remains as Places and cannot be edited. Confused, the entries prior to adding this plugin are still showing ‘Places’. What I have I done wrong?

    If I understand correctly, you have two custom post types [CPTs]: Places and Gardens.
    And you have listings in both CPTs.
    Places can be changed in the default CPT: just go GD > Custom Post Types > edit Places, and change singular and plural name to whatever you like.
