jumping on to this thread with a little issue i have –
i’ve created several places, but the other users don’t see them but rather see some sort of an “oops” message.
what am i doing wrong ?
the users are set as Admins, the pages/places are set as “published publicly”
thanks,
Amir
November 11, 2014 at 11:15 pm #21209We definitely will need a URL and WP-admin details in a private message.
Do not set your users as admins, that means all your listing owners can do whatever they like to your site. Users can just be subscribers.
Have a look at these links for starters if you have not done so yet:

Can you explain your problem any better, because it all works fine for me.November 16, 2014 at 2:52 pm #21666i received several complaints and also checked it myself –
if i go to “locations” and change to a city, “tel aviv” for instance, there’s a “oops page doesnt exist” notificatoin, even though if i do it while logged into my account, i see it perfectly.
i’ve checked it also with other browsers and in incognito mode.
i’ve cleared all cachewhen looking at the browser address, it is being reformated after you click to “http://points.keepod.org/location/” and then the error notification is sent.
instead of showing the full address or its content. for exmaple choosing Tel-Aviv city –
http://points.keepod.org/location/israel/tel-aviv-district/tel-aviv-yafo/i can see that as an admin logged in but not if unlogged and/or in incognito.
can you see –
Giddy’s Cafe in Ramat Gan city, for example ?
November 16, 2014 at 10:43 pm #21674I thought it was the listings they could not see, but you meant locations.
I now had a look at your setup, and you somehow trashed the GD virtual pages. You will have to restore them: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/how-to-restore-virtual-gd-pages/November 17, 2014 at 7:19 am #21690so… what do you think ? what went wrong here ?
Amir
November 17, 2014 at 7:54 am #21691You must have thought you didn’t need them, so you trashed them, or maybe you did not know why they were there.
They can’t get deleted by themselves. It is not uncommon for people to delete because they don’t know why they are there, that is why we have that article so you can restore them.November 20, 2014 at 3:04 pm #22035hi,
this didnt work..
looking at the child theme, it is not the original one as i’ve changed the theme itself to a different one.
what to do ?
see attached printscreen

Do you still have any problems we should help with?November 22, 2014 at 11:05 am #22268hi,
yes, i still cant see the places i’ve insterted unless i’m logged in and only i can see them.
look for yourself under “change location->city->tel-aviv” and you will get an “oops” notification, while i do see the places if im logged in.
November 22, 2014 at 11:51 am #22270You had a page cacher enabled. GD uses dynamicly created pages, so pages should not be cached.
I de-activated your cacher and it works for me now. -
