Split: Is GD compatible with all WP themes now?

    You have the exact same problem on the other site.

    If I click on location link in the breadcrumb: http://www.cigartworld.com/places/austria/kaernten/klagenfurt-am-woerthersee/

    I’m locked in that location and I can no longer move out of it, without the location switcher.

    sorry for my being off the Office over the weekend; still having same trouble with the map which doesn work instead nothing was changed over the weekend. Setting is autozoom. If the switcher is needed i would prefer to have it below the “Listing” in the menue. To go back to everywhere would be alternating?

    one more thing, Paolo: just found out that the booster was´nt activatet at neueuhren.de – so i did. Surprise after: activated Booster causes Problems with articles on the starting page – layout shows missing space. i de-activated afterwards to have good results on the page as before. step by step it seems that GD plugin will be not perfectly working with the theme which would be very disappointing….

    Hi,

    Yes a link to the /location/ page would reset to location to everywhere which is an alternative.

    The map not working was probably due to the GD Booster issue that is fixed now.

    The plugin clashing was PrettPhoto and we had to exclude it’s script from being concatenated.

    Just to make sure it is clear, WordPress is an open source project with hundreds of thousands of themes and plugins.

    There is no possible way to create something as complex as GD and its add-ons that works flawlessly with 100% of them…

    You should adjust your expectactions and be aware that conflicts between themes and plugins, being built by different developers, are always possible and you’ll keep on finding them.

    ACtually we are still working on GD Booster on your website. There are still some issues.

    Please provide FTP credentials. We believe W3 Total cache left some of it’s file behind and we need to delete them.

    Should be all fixed now.

    BTW, you had same strange settings in there. In GD > Home content section you had listing width of 640% set in the widget options.

    In addition the custm settings for that theme were no longer selected.

    Hi Paolo an thx a lot looks fine now although the Background now is White instead black in the ; re Settings; there was a misunderstanding either setting number+% or number as pixel width – the 640 was due to beleive that this would mention Pixel width an not %.
    One last thing for the moment: why do the popular categories not come on the map after klicking to !Listing/places! in the menue? widget should be there…. and it would be helpful for readers to understand the content of map & Directory and the effort they could have using it….other categories will follow..
    re category icon: i would like to offer customized icons for the brands boutiques – will transparent png work?

    thx Paolo for your cupport yet. at least there would be to solve location switcher: would it be possible to place it as third Position Listing/Places/Location switcher? or do you recommend another solution which is most succesful at otehr directories?

    hi & good morning paolo – late yesterday i discovered another mysterium at gd map: i have 4 places at Frankfurt – and the map doesn´t sho any of them. any explanation for this?
