Split: Missing Update Notifications?

I also have the same problem as Hennie above.
The 2 plugins mentioned have not updated nor do I get a notice that updates are available.
Tried your advice –

After you activate your licence try going to the Dashboard>Updates and “check again” button to make it then check for the updates, then install them.

If you send instructions, I can ftp updates to the site.
Is it as simple as downloading the latest version;
Unzipping it on my pc
FTP the files to overwrite the existing files in the plugin directories?

Please advise.
