    Dear Members or developers,

    Yesterday I tried to remove the header within GDF. The purpose of it is to open the Gd home page on top with the search widgit beneath it.

    I have no options no more. Any one know how to remove the header so I can open my page with a full with GD map @ GDF?

    Sebastiaan.

    Hi Sebastiaan, I am not sure I understand. What theme are you using?

    Hallo Guust,

    Thank you for your quick responce. I have to admit that I am starting to like the service levels of coöperation I get. To stick with the core of my problem. I have installed the GDF Modern Theme.

    My goal is to open with the GD Map wiget on the top of my GD Home page. This might naturaly be located within the header of the GDF Modern theme or in a widget area (without the header).

    <!– Could you please help me with locating the code’s I want to exclude within the; theme > editor > header.php? <–

    I am looking foreward to read your solving story.

    Thank you,

    Sebastiaan

    So you do want that change only for the GD Home page? Not for any of the location pages or any other page?

    I would like to make the change for the GD Home page as well as for other pages like, the my location page. I don’t mind for the location page to become like the “clean” “independant” search page option. Once the nearest place is found and 1 of 7 (geo based) search results is selected; I would like the header (with logo) should stay.

    Are there options?

    You could delete everything below

    <div id="container">

    That basically deletes the header.
    I would copy the header.php and rename it to header1.php, and then change the reference to header.php in the relevant templates.
