    Hi,

    I am using “Boss,” the same theme as Chan Smith and have compatibility issues too.
    As you can see in the theme demo, there is an expandable left menu, looking like mobile apps. On the page where the GeoDirectory map is displayed, items of this menu are supposed to appear as we hover the cursor over the icon, yet we can’t read them as they are hidden behind the map.

    Do you know if this issue has already been solved?

    I wish I could provide you with a link to test it, unfortunately I am still working on my localhost as the website is still far from being pushed online.

    Please let me know if I have anything to try.

    If you add a private message in another user’s topic, not only admins will be able to see your post, but also the user that started the topic.

    The problem you describe seems to be an issue with CSS and z-index, these links might assist:
    http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_pos_z-index.asp
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    Once your site is live and you can provide admin details, we’ll fix any remaining problems for you if you like.

    Hi Guust,

    I recently discovered this isn’t true and I forgot to tell you about it 🙁 sorry…

    Only Moderators can read users private replies, while only the topic author can read moderators private replies (in case we reply privately).

    @nael, I’m installing the Theme now, I’m interested to see, apart from the problem reported, how compatible they are. I used to have a licence of the old version of buddyboss, but I guess it has expired.

    I’ll be back soon with the solution for the z-index css problem.

    Thanks for your patience,

    Please try adding this to GeoDirectory >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom CSS

    .geodir_map_container {
        z-index: 11;
    }

    Not 100% sure this could possibly create problems somewhere else, but it shouldn’t. In case it does, let us know.

    Thanks

    Other than that it seems to adapt well, I would also add a small padding to the right and left of the GeoDirectory content:

    #geodir-wrapper {
        padding: 0 10px 0 30px;
    }

    That makes it look much better.

    Let usk now if you need help with anything else.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Paolo, it perfectly works (and I didn’t really expect a solution in less than 90 mn).
    The padding issue was my next target, glad you solved it even before I started thinking about how to do.
    Thanks again for your help, your support seems as awesome as your products!
    I hope I won’t have to bother you too often…

    You are welcome Nael,

    you had to wait almost 3 days to complete the purchase, I didn’t want you to wait to start building your website too. 🙂

    In case you need help, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thanks!
