Static map width error

    Hi friends,
    I’m trying to add a GD>Map widget to a detail page, but setting the width to 100% does not work with “Enable static map” ticked. It seems to simply strip the % sign off and use the number as px value in the request to maps.googleapis.com. So the static map image shows as 100×425 image instead of scaling to 100% width. When clicking the static image, the map scales correctly to the canvas size. Using a number without % works as expected, but obviousely doesn’t scale. I’m using the latest GeoDirectory with WP 5.1 and Beaver Themer. Does anybody have a clue for this?

    Static maps require a pixel value in the width input, like 500px.

    Thanks for your reply, Alex. Maybe the popup help and your documentation should mention this somewhere. At least it’s documented here now 🙂
    Btw, do you have a hint how to make the map image scale to the container width while using pixel values for width (and height?)

    No, static maps are images, though, so should respond to CSS.
