Style.css and Functions.php

    Hi guys,

    I’m currently using the Geo 1280 Child Theme. I have a couple questions regarding style.css and functions.php:

    1. When I want to change the style, size, color, or the graphics I would inspect element and add the changes to Geodirectory > Design > Scripts. Yes?

    2. When I want to change the code in functions.php, do I change the geodir_geo-1280 > functions.php only? Or is there another functions.php I need to manipulate?

    3. Finally, what happens to both the style.css and functions.php when the theme upgrades? Would all my changes disappear or how does that work?

    1. That is one option. Other options are in the child theme style.css file.

    2. Only the child theme functions.php should be used.

    3. Child themes never have upgrades. All changes to child themes should be made manually so you do not loose any customizations you made.
