ok so looks like you also added a test image.. but as you can see the image bubble is STILL small.
January 13, 2015 at 5:33 pm #27392Yes, I’m doing some tests, I’ll let you know. For now it seems that the image at 3:2 is not going to be as the buddakan in the demo
January 13, 2015 at 5:45 pm #27393I’m actually flagging this for developers as a bug. There is too much inconsistency in our demo too.
Apparently the address lenght is determining the picture size.
Buddakan is bigger than Best Western Center City Hotel even though images are identical in size and shape.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
January 13, 2015 at 6:02 pm #27394no problem, glad it wasn’t just me. Will you be getting back to me once your developer sort this out? also, I asked yesterday if a listing could be on more than one post type on the map. Simone told me that you are looking at this with a view to releasing and update that will allow this. Any ideas as to when that will be please?
January 13, 2015 at 6:26 pm #27395HI,
yes we will notify on this topic as soon as solved. We can’t really give a timing before we dig into the problem, but we will try to fix it as soon as possible.
Thanks
January 13, 2015 at 8:36 pm #27408can you please tell me what the pinpoint is supposed to do in a listings view?
please check http://herb.the-county.ca/listings/residential-1/
as I cannot see what use it is.
thanks
January 13, 2015 at 8:44 pm #27410This is useful when you have a sidebar and a MAP in there, when you click on the pinpoint it will automatically highlight the pin of the listing, in the map.
January 13, 2015 at 8:52 pm #27411so a map would show several pins on the map within the listings?
January 13, 2015 at 8:57 pm #27412ok enabled the map, looks good, can you please tell me why the Latest Places is showing underneath? I have checked the widgets areas and nothing should be there?
January 13, 2015 at 8:58 pm #27413forget last comment, me being an idiot lol
January 13, 2015 at 9:01 pm #27414ok I got one for you.. same page, under the map on the sidebar, any chance that I can only show the image and address on the latest places widget please?
January 14, 2015 at 2:57 pm #27491You can get rid of these extra fields in the custom fields, inside the post type settings..
when you expand the field, untick were it says “Show on listing page” see attach.January 14, 2015 at 3:02 pm #27493yes, but it was more of if I could display them in the main content but not in the widget content. Anyway, I have fixed that now thanks.
could you help with the following please.1) is there a way to disable the listing view types on the front end and keep the default view as list?
2) please look at this page http://herb.the-county.ca/listings/residential-1/ can you tell me why the top of the widget map seems to be cut off and how I can rectify it please.
thank you
January 14, 2015 at 3:09 pm #274961- you can hide the Listings type view going in the gd settings, then Design, Map tab, and from there tick the Listings post type (the ticked will be hidden).
To change the default view into list, go in Design, and in the Listings tab and set List View in the “Listing content section view” list. (this will set List to default).
To change the one in the home only, select List view from the layout in the GD > Popular post view in the widget inside the GD Home Content section2- set a different width in the map widget
January 14, 2015 at 3:20 pm #275051) sorry not what I meant. I mean can I hide the view type drop down box on the front end so I do not give people the option of viewing listings in grids etc
2) you mean change the map height? I have changed this and it does not make any difference, it still looks like its been cut off at the top
