Styling Widgets

    Hello

    I just subscribed to your plugin and I have a question. Please I will like to know if it is possible to style widgets template without working on the core files so that when an update is done, I will not lose the styling.
    If it is possible, can you please explain the steps to take.
    I really need to be able to do the styling to adapt your plugin to my theme.

    HI,

    it depends what kind of hcanges you need to do, if it’s just CSS, add it to GeoDirectory >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom CSS.

    That will be saved in the database and will be update safe.

    There are also many filters and actions that can be used via functions.php of the child theme. Again without knowing what you need to know it’s difficult to assist better.

    Hello

    Thanks for the information. I have already gone through those links you sent.
    What I want to do is to add custom HTML tags (e.g. div ids and class) to some of the widgets on the GD Homepage in order to adapt them to my website template.
    Is it possible to copy the widgets templates (e.g. The GD Search widget) to the theme folder and customize them like you can do for the templates?

    yes the search widget uses this template: listing-filter-form.php
