Sub Categories

    Hi,
    I am trialing GeoDirectory. I want to use it to build a business directory around my area. Because of the diversity of categories, I want to sub-categorise so that there isn’t a huge list of possibilities when folks add an entry.
    For example Category is ‘BUILDING’ under that, you might have ‘ROOFER’, ‘ELECTRICIAN’ etc. If I do this, it appears that it is possible for the person adding a post to select ‘BUILDING’ instead of one of the child categories.
    Is there any way to avoid this please?

    Hi,

    if using subcategories, the listing must be added to both parent and sub category for the system to work.

    You can’t add it only to the sub-category.
