Hi, Suddenly my “Add Listing” page isn’t working properly when readers try to add their business listing in the front end.
Here’s the link: https://playinginpuddles.com.au/add-listing/?pid=&backandedit=1&listing_type=gd_photographer&package_id=41) I keep hitting “set address on map” and the placemaker doesn’t move and the location it is in is wrong. It works when I do it on the WP dashboard, but not when people submit in the front end.
2) When I add images I should able to move them around to change their order, but when i do this eitehr they don’t move or all of the images disappear. Are you having trouble with the plugin or can I presume it’s isolated to my account?
I would love some help quite urgently please.May 12, 2017 at 10:37 pm #378138Have you updated your Google API key after moving domain? It seems you did, but just checking.
It seems you have a conflict with another plugin that uses the Google Map API.
De-activate that plugin to see if that fixes it.Thanks
May 12, 2017 at 10:42 pm #378139Okay i’ll try that. Thank you. Will let you know if it works.
Will that also be causing the problem with the images?May 12, 2017 at 11:49 pm #378144Oops, forgot to look at that. That seems to be a caching issue. You are getting this error:
Uncaught TypeError: thumbsC.sortable is not a function
Try disabling all plugins you don’t really need, and clear all caches.
I’ll get one of the developers to have a closer look at that after the weekend.May 13, 2017 at 6:53 am #378161Hi Guust, If I disable the WP Google Maps i remove the maps from my posts, which is a really important feature of my site. Is there a way you can see that I could use Geodirectory on my post pages? I don’t want my posts to look like the rest of my directory, so it’s not as easy as just making my posts places. My posts review places – parks, play centres, cafes. My posts are written by me as independent reviews, whereas my directory entries are written by the individual businesses, so they are very different.
Here is a link to a post page so you can see how I need my map to function: https://playinginpuddles.com.au/veras-water-garden-the-entrance/
and here is a link to my map/search page, so you can likewsie see how it works: https://playinginpuddles.com.au/map/
Is there a way you can see this working with Geodirectory? Could I perhaps include the map widget somehow onto my posts? Or do I need to install another plugin to make this work? And if you think i need another plugin, is there one you can recommend that doesn’t conflict with geodirectory? Thank you.
KatieMay 13, 2017 at 7:10 am #378163You could create a CPT for your normal posts, that would be one way to solve the issue.
You could try a plugin like “plugin organizer” to turn off one plugin for pages created for the other plugin; it allows you to selectively load plugins for certain pages only.
May 13, 2017 at 11:13 am #378184Hi, I’ve just tried deactivating the other plugin and the problem is still there. When I type in an address on the “Add Listing” page in the front end it doesn’t offer any kind of auto-fills for the address, whereas it used to. When I manually add an address and then click “set address on map” the placemarker doesn’t move.
It works properly in the WP dashboard. I think this must be a geodirectory error rather than something to do with the other plugin. Can someone please have a look at this for me?
Thank youMay 13, 2017 at 3:54 pm #378196Hi,
the developers will check and let you know after the week end. Please share admin credentials for them to follow up.
Thanks
May 13, 2017 at 8:57 pm #378220Where are you based? When will it no longer be the weekend where you are? I think you have some major errors occurring on your plugin, and this is not good for people using your products.
I disabled all plugins on my site except the geodirectory ones and When I did that, there was about 4-5 errors on the “add listing” page under geodirectory. See attachment. The errors are coming from the root plugin, location manager, and advanced search.
Can you please get someone to look at this soonest. This is really messing with my site. Do you really not have a single developer who can be contacted on weeekends? I really can’t afford my business site to be broken for days. Please let me know when someone will be able to look at this.

I’m sorry but support is limited during week ends.
There are over 10k websites using GD without reporting similar errors.
The problem is unique to your website and is due to conflicts with other plugins or with the theme.
Did you clear all caches after disabling all non GD plugins.
Thank you for your patience
May 13, 2017 at 9:48 pm #378225P.s. Please don’t forget to provide a link and admin credentials or we won’t be able to assist…
May 14, 2017 at 12:10 am #378230Is it just WP admin details you require, or do you need FTP access too?
May 14, 2017 at 12:16 am #378232Just WP admin should be enough most likely, the developer will ask FTP details if required.
Make sure to clear the GoDaddy Cache every time too, or ask them to disable it as much as possible.
