Subscription Payments

On one of my GD sites when a user pays via PayPal it sets up an automatic subscription for the same amount after the initial period expires so automatically takes the next payment and renews the listing. I have another site the same set up but it only takes the one single payment. This goes to the same PayPal address as the first site i refer to- the only difference being this second site charges in euros and payments have to be ‘claimed’ on PayPal. Is it this which prevents the subscription being set up or have i missed a setting on the GD or plugin which sets up the auto renewal? Thanks
