    Hi Andrew,

    we use that script on this very website since 2014 and it didn’t affect our credibility one bit.

    We have opened a issue with the author of the script, its best to get a solution from them direct, this script is used by many many sites.

    For now you can do something like add the parent menu item as the first sub menu item also, then add a class to those items so they can be hidden only on desktop view and not on the mobile one.

    You’ve been with this error for the past 3 years? Ouch…

    I already post a solution here but that’s not what I would like to have it, thanks for the suggestion but I would rather to have final fix, if you don’t mind?

    Andrew, please remember you will be treated here as you treat us… We are only trying to help you. We are not forcing you to use that theme, your are free to use any theme.

    The issue is not a simple one, it would take a long time to explain all the complexities that go beyond this single issue. In short, this issue is only an issue if your menu is set a specific way, the menu script is developed by a 3rd party, it had other bugs that the latest version (we can use) fixed but introduced some changes/this issue. The licence of the addon changed also, we can’t use the very latest version (WordPress rules), we need to ask the dev if he has a solution which we have done, if he does not then we will fix it. The issue is relatively minor and easy to get around for now, please respect that all we are trying to do is help you, we don’t need snarky responses in our life’s.

    Sir,

    I think you have calm down a little bit. In any time I tried to be disrespectful to you and despite in how you treat me I will always treat you professionally and if you don’t feel to help me anymore, it’s okay as well, let someone to handle, I don’t mind!

    I am sorry if you felt offended but what I was trying to say is that I just don’t want to have my page with that bug for that long. The way you wrote its look like you are having this issue for 3 years. I cannot say that whatever happens to my traffic and user’s behavior will apply to your site, can I? You have to agree with me that if a user feels annoying by that menu he/she can leave the site, correct? I would! Now if you don’t feel that this is an issue I don’t think you should expect other website’s owners to feel the same, my point!

    It’s frustrating when someone has convinient responses to themselves, that’s all, nothing personal.

    Let’s keep it professional

    I’m always calm 🙂

    I’m just trying to help you with a situation you don’t seem to fully understand (thinking its been an issue for 3 years)… The issue will be fixed, its a relatively small issue once you have the right menu setup, if the author responds with a fix we will apply it, if not we will create our own fix.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Just a little update, i am in talks with the dev, hopefully we have a perminant solution soon but for now he also mentioned you can apply this css to make just the arrow open the sub menu and the link will work as normal. (this does bring some other issues if the main link is a # link as it will close the menu)

    .mm-list a.mm-subopen {
        width: 40px;
    }

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
