Hi there, I’m trying to set up a site with the Supreme Directory theme and have a few questions.
1) Why is the map not displaying on my location pages? It works fine on the search pages. Here is an example where there should be results, but the map doesn’t show (screenshot attached): http://gcsupreme.wpengine.com/location/tennessee/nashville/
2) How do I change the default large background image? Do I have to change the functions.php file? If so, how will I be able to receive updates?
3) Where do I go to add taglines and images to individual cities? I don’t see anything in the Location Manager.
4) Can I show post types instead of “popular categories” with the icons on the home page?
5) What setting do I use to control the font color for the copyright text? I’ve tried all of the options in Customize > Footer > Text Colors.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
July 7, 2016 at 6:31 pm #223393Okay, I figured out that the map was not showing results because the default post type for city pages is “Places”. How can I change that view to show all post types or change the default type?
July 7, 2016 at 6:50 pm #223405I figured out the default post type option. Still need help with items 2-5 on my list though…
July 7, 2016 at 9:33 pm #2235042) the best way is to replace the featured image via FTP. You can alternatively change it via functions.php, but being Supreme a child theme, you’d need to take note of any change you make to it, so that you can re-apply them after every update.
5) I asked to the developer to verify why it’s not working. I can see the same in our demo.
Thanks
July 7, 2016 at 9:42 pm #223506Okay thanks. I look forward to hearing back about the footer text color.
3) Can you help me find where to add taglines and photos for each city?
4) Is it possible to use post types instead of popular categories for the home page icons?
July 7, 2016 at 9:52 pm #223507FYI, I believe you need to add the following CSS to fix the blog posts grid when there are more than 3 posts.
.sd.blog .content-box.content-single article.hentry:nth-of-type(3n+1) { clear: both; }July 8, 2016 at 2:45 pm #2239893) Where do I go to add taglines and images to individual cities? I don’t see anything in the Location Manager.
There was a bug in supreme. This has been fixed 3 days back.

You need to Edit SEO settings in location manager and add your tagline Image tagline field.
July 8, 2016 at 3:18 pm #2239944) you will need to edit content.php and use the Shortcode: [gd_cpt_listings] instead of the popular category shortcode.
Thanks
