Hello, I am trying to add a link in the “My Account” menu item in the Supreme header. I am using a plugin for member profiles and the login/registration pages are different.

I’ve used the snippet to redirect to the registration pages, but the “forgot password” link still poses an issue. I would like to add my own “forgot password” link to work around this limitation. Can someone give me some guidance on this please? I don’t know if it’s possible with a snippet or if I need to modify a core file. Thank you.

    Hello,

Adding more features or links to the my Account area of supreme child theme is a customization but we have a couple examples to help you get started.

Search for “My Account” on this page to see examples:

Sorry but this actually isn’t what I needed. I don’t need to edit the “My Account” section, I need to add a link into the dropdown “My Account” menu in Supreme theme. Thank you.

I can’t take a screenshot of this because the drop down menu that I’m referring to disappears when I try to.

I am referring to the drop down on the “My Account” menu. The snippet provided changes the “Forgot password” link to the login page – which isn’t right. Is there a function to just change the “Forgot password” link? And if not, how can I just add another link to that section to create my own “Forgot password” link? Thank you.

I spoke with the team, they recommend trying this:

Thank you. I tried that but it doesn’t seem to work. Please see if it would be easier to just add another link and remove the default link.

    Hi Joy,

If that did not worked then you can add your link in supreme child theme functions.php file. Here is the line that contains forgot password link https://github.com/GeoDirectory/supreme-directory/blob/4b0c253785ad8371c07a2c7bf4c155427eccbec9/functions.php#L346

    Let us know.
