    Hi,

I have a Directory using the supreme directory theme. When I search for a place the results are displayed in two columns side by side. A list view and a map view. My intention is to have a toggle button so I can switch between the map view and the list view (when the list view is showing, hide the map view and vice versa).

Any help in trying to get this working would be great!

    Thanks!

    Hi Eoin,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option that allows you to achieve that and would require customization. If you need help with customization, check out this link http://geodirectoryexperts.com/

    Thanks!

If you are using Supreme, it does that when visiting the site with a mobile device.

We do that with CSS and JavaScript. It-s not that hard really, if you have some CSS and JavaScript knowledge. You can basically inspect what we did and modify it so that it works that way for desktops views too.

If you don’t have enough experience to tackle something like that, what Kor suggested is the way to go.

    Thanks

Luckily I have good CSS and Javascript knowledge. It is just the structure of the theme that is throwing me of as I am unfamiliar with WordPress theme structures.
Ill have a dig around the theme files and see if I can’t find the relevant bits to take “inspiration” from.

    Thanks for your help!

So I have isolated the mobile map toggle CSS and JQuery. My plan is to add this to my Custom CSS without the media query for mobile screens.
However, I’m not sure where I should put the JQuery? There are boxes for custom CSS code, Header script code and Footer Script code in GD > Design > Scripts. Is the Footer the right place to put it?

The footer is a good place to start.
