Hello, was anyone able to figure out how to get this to work with a snippet instead of changing the function file?

    Thank you.

    Hi Joy,

Thanks for your post. I’ve just checked the link you’ve shared and it uses a code snippet. Do you mean the other way round?

    Thanks!

Hi, no that’s that I meant. The snippet provided in that post should be sufficient, but for some reason it isn’t, and the only was to get the header menu to work is to actually change the core function file.

I am asking to see if any change has been made so that a snippet will work instead of having to edit the core file. Of course, this would just make things easier to remember when there is a new update so that a user won’t have up keep editing the core function file with each update.

Please let me know if you would like me to further explain. Thank you.

to our knowledge, no, there hasn’t been any more progress on that.
