The website I am creating is http://schoolbizmap.com/

I have 3 custom post types: Places which I call “schools”, Events, and Jobs.

When I load Places on the map it takes just 9 seconds to load 24000 places which is OK
When I choose Events it takes 39 seconds to load 5 events which is unusable.
When I choose Jobs it also takes 39 seconds to load 2 jobs.

I have tried playing with the GD Booster Cache but it made no difference to timings.
I have switched it off and am trying Siteground cache but this makes no difference to timings either.

Do I have something configured incorrectly somewhere. It seems illogical for a tiny number of records to take so long to load on the map.

when I choose lists, everything is fine.

    Any help much appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi,

what kind of server plan is hosting the website? Are you using server or client side clustering?

Would you mind providing admin credentials in a private reply so that our developers can try to track down the bottleneck?

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi Ian,

I have switched your marker clustering to server side and it seems to fix it.
When it’s set to client side it stores all the markers in the clients browser memory, the load time of the actual markers was ok but the problem was adding and removing the markers from memory.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Great.
    A huge improvement in performance.
Load time has gone from 39 seconds to 1 second.

    Thank you

    Best wishes
    Ian
