Tags not working on frontend editor

Hi,

The tags for my custom post type aren’t working in the frontend editor. I try to type into the field but nothing displays. The entries that were added via import or by the backend are currently displaying. So adding tags via import and backend works but the frontend doesn’t.

I see that the issue is there’s a maxlength=”40″ on the field.

in the page geodirectory_template_actions.php on line 2377 I removed the maxlength attribute and this fixed the issue.

However, when I tried to upload it to the child theme directory (I tried many different locations within the child theme) and it didn’t update. However, when I overwrite the file in the plugin folder it works.

Please let me know how to make this same update so that I don’t lose it when I update the plugin.

If you have the payment manager installed u can set the tags max length for each price package.
(if not i can give you a code snippet)
