    Hi,
Just noticed that whilst you offer a custom placeholder for tags, you hardcoded your own version in input-functions.php as

    data-placeholder="<?php _e('Enter tags separated by a comma ,', 'geodirectory');

    Hope this helps…

    Hi Eugene UK,

Thanks for your post. You can use the translation method here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/#core to change those placeholders.

    Hi Kor.
Very interesting reply to my comment.
Could you please answer to my question placed in the placeholder field on the attached image?
    Look forward to your reply.
    Thanks in advance,
    Eugene

The placeholder value shows for the user when they load the form, then disappears when they place their cursor to make the field active.

You can choose either a default value or a placeholder. A default value would be saved with the listing, but a placeholder would leave the field empty on save if no value has been added.

Thanks Alex, but have you looked at my query closely in detail?
Please let me re-cap on what I meant precisely.

    1) In the Admin Settings Custom Fields for Listing are – under the Tags Advanced View – you have an input field for Placeholder, which is available for use.
    2) In the input-functions.php file of GeoDirectory, you have a line of code, which overrides the available Placeholder input field in the Admin View (as described in point 1).

I understand how placeholders work. What I don’t understand is why do you have the custom Placeholder input field available in the Admin View IF you override it in the source code?

I hope you see what I mean now.

    Best regards,
    Eugene
