Theme Compatability

    Hi

    Experiencing an issue with GD and Avada

    I’ve checked and Avada is a supported theme, but when I activated Avada the GD homepage map (at the top of the page) doesn’t render and neither does the categories / search sections.

    The map appears if I add it another page such as the Detail page.

    If I use a stock theme such as 2016 the map renders OK.

    Is there an issue with Avada?

    Any pointers would be welcomed!

    Do you have the latest Avada?
    Post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look at your settings.

    I changed your WP Settings > Reading. That was not set correctly.

    May I ask…

    I’d like to use a static page for the site home page,and have GD pointing to the ‘coach page’ which would be a menu item page.

    Is it possible to have the map at the top of a page that isnt the site home page?

    its definitely theme related…tried another WP default theme – 2015 – and the Home Map appears on a page that isn’t set to the sites homepage.

    Hi,

    I’ve fixed your GeoDirectory >> Permalinks.

    If you are not using the GD home as your website home page, you have to set the Snooker Coach page as the location page. (GD Home in that case is not used)
