    Hi,
I’m working through the theme compatibility section to work with BeaverBuilder child theme, and it appears that the bottom widget sections for GD Home and GD Detail, fall outside of geodir_wrapper_open/close hooks.

Therefore I’m not able to use these bottom sections, as I don’t see a way to affect the layout with Theme Compatibility.

    Please advise,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Usually we try and keep the top and bottom section outside the main wrappers so they can be used fullwidth but it depends on the theme.

I have added some CSS to make it look correct, please check now.

    HI Stiofan,
Thank you for the css addition.
However, the primary reason for my post is to point out that under theme compatibility, there is no way to control the bottom section.

You have made allowances for the top section (which is inside geodir_wrapper_open), but the bottom sections are not there at all.

Currently, the top and bottom sections are handled differently under theme compatibility… it seems like a bug.

    Thanks again for your help,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

It all depends on how the theme does things.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Ok, now I am confused.
Are you saying that it is my theme that is causing, on the Theme Compatibility Page, there to be no control of the bottom widgets?

We dynamically add those sections, for most themes it works fine out the box, for others it requires a little tweaking, if you spot anything else just let us know and we will fix it 🙂
